Baby Einin - Edmonton Family Photographer

I was privileged, to have the very special opportunity, to photograph this gorgeous, little family. Baby Einin, did not want to wait to meet her Mom and Dad, and arrived ahead of schedule, at 26 weeks. Never giving up for a moment, she is proving how strong, and how much of a fighter she is. Now at four months old this little one, is now safe at home, with Mom and Dad.

Einin you are such a beautiful little girl, and an incredible inspiration to all ♥. Enjoy your sneak peak!

Joe & Christina Engagement - Edmonton Wedding Photographer

I met up with Christina and Joe, on a very cold, snowy and windy, winter morning. Despite the conditions we all had a blast! I was so impressed with both of them as they never complained about the temperature once, and were up for anything I suggested.

Baby Isabella - Edmonton Newborn Photographer

Remember this family, from earlier this fall? Well, Kylee and Elisa have since welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Isabella! I had the opportunity to meet her when she was just 8 days old, and she was such a little angel.

Grant & Vanita Reception - Edmonton Wedding Photographer

Grant and Vanita traveled to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to exchange their vows and become man and wife. While their family, and closest friends, were able travel with them to witness their tropical union, not all could make the journey. For those that could not attend, Grant & Vanita hosted a beautiful reception, on their one week anniversary nonetheless, to celebrate. It was a wonderful evening! Vanita looked breathtaking in her Sari, there were heart felt speeches, delicious food, and lots of music and dancing. Fun was definitely had by all!

Patterson Family - Edmonton Family Photographer

I have known Daylene for a couple of years now, and was so excited for this family session, as I was finally able to meet the rest of her family. Austin, one of the newest six year olds, was an absolute joy to photograph! He was so very serious one moment, and then would burst out laughing the next.

We were also lucky to be able to get together when we did. We caught some of the last hints of fall colour in our beautiful river valley, and had a fantastic November morning weathe wise. Not too cold, and no snow on the ground. Definitely a good combination for some fun!

Happy Birthday Lilly!

Today my little, baby girl is 5!!! Where have the days, and the years gone already. She has been waiting for this day for months, excitingly counting down, past all of the other fall birthdays our family has.

If I close me eyes it honestly feels like it was yesterday that she was born.

Happy Birthday my little Lilly-Beth. I hope all of your precious dreams come true!

It has been really busy around here of late. As such I have unfortunately been playing catch, slightly more than I would like!

I met up with this little family a couple of weeks ago now. It took us a couple of tries to finally get together, as first these little ones were under the weather and then mother nature decided to grace us with some early snow! Everything finally came together, and it was completely worth the wait! I am so lucky to have been able to work with these adorable little ones! I honestly have the best clients :)

Meet Duane, Lori, Kylee, Mackenzie, Shawnee and Breanna. These six were an absolute blast to spend an evening with, and shoot. It may have been a little on the chilly side, but they were all very brave, and toughed it out right to the end. The best part though, was that I don't think there was a single moment where at least one person was not laughing at something!

Before the crazy winds descended upon our city this past weekend, I met up with Audrey and her parents. This little sweetheart is turning three very soon! At first she was not very keen on having her photo taken, as the playground was much more fun. I can't really blame her for that one though. Lucky for us Mom had a secret weapon with her, a chocolate brownie! After a little snack Audrey was a pro ;)

We passed another milestone in our house last week, as my baby started kindergarten. She was so excited to, and has absolutely loved every minute of it so far! I still am in awe at how fast my baby is growing.

This was a very special engagement session for me as it features none other than my baby sister and my soon-to-be brother-in-law!!! I was extremely honored that they asked me to photograph them, just days after their engagement, while vacationing in the mountains. I wish you two all the happiness in the world, and cannot wait to celebrate with you both on your wedding day next summer!

On Vacation

4 Months - Edmonton Baby Photographer

My little guy turned 4 months on the weekend! In continuation with our tradition, I took him out early in the morning for his mini, monthly, photo shoot. It is a good thing he is normally a morning person, but I still don't know if he was too impressed with me this time ;)

Joe & Christina Engagment Ceremony - Edmonton Wedding Photographer

Joe and Christina were officially engaged this past weekend, with a traditional Vietnamese engagement ceremony. Joe, and his family, arrived early in the morning at the house of Christina's parents. Bearing gifts as they came, he asked her family for her hand in marriage. Christina received her breath taking ring, and formal family introductions occurred between the two. After whisking his bride-to-be away, everyone gathered together to celebrated the forth coming nuptials, with a wonderful feast.

Congratulations Joe and Christina! I can't wait to celebrate more on your wedding day next year.

So Kristen & Jerry didn't have to wait quite as long as they thought they would to meet Baby Jayla. She couldn't wait to meet the world, and made her grand entrance 3 weeks ahead of schedule! Weighing in at only 5 pounds & 10 ounces, she was quite the tiny little model, but an absolute doll to work with.

These are my wonderful children, who are gracious enough to put up with me constantly chasing them down with my camera. While my daughter is starting to show signs of protest, I am lucky as my son can't run away from me...yet. Regardless I know that they will both thank me when they are older ;).
